Teacher view within a session

In the example Sanako Connect image below, we have one student in the session. Each student is represented by a “student card” as shown in the image below.

The Teacher view consist of the main “class area”, which shows all the students who are connected to the session, and of the 4 main menu items shown at the top navigation bar inside the teacher’s view.

At the top of the screen, we have four main menu items: ClassFilesExercises and Submissions.

Top Menu items are explained below:

Class is the view above, where you see all of the students in the session represented by a ‘student card’. Each student card includes direct features to communicate with this particular student, like listening and speaking directly 1:1 with this student.

Files allows you to upload files to be used in this session. You will also find all of the files you’ve used in your exercises from this view. This is basically your file management area.

Exercises allows you to author and share customized exercises for your students. In this area you can create and edit your exercises.

Submissions is where all student recordings and responses are collected for this particular session. In this are you can give text or audio feedback and attach it to the relevant student submissions.

The rest of the teacher’s features (like Launching a teacher-controlled exercise, Speak to Class, Split students into groups) are covered in other areas of this Help site.
